He cracked Maroon 5's "Harder to Breathe" right out of the Idol park and once again should be safe for at least another week.
And kissing Jennifer Lopez on the cheek won't hurt him one little bit.
I love me some Jacob Lusk but like country boy Scotty McCreery and rocker James Durbin, he's a one genre singer.
Not that they aren't very good, they are. But if I was to vote for the best overall talent, the most interesting and surprising, that can do a bunch of genres, that would be Casey.
James Durbin was very cool doing "Uprising" but once again, he's a rocker and not much else. And I for one could have done without the screechy high notes.
I can just here Simon Cowell now, "It was kind of screechy, screaming..."
Oh and Haley and Lauren, interchangeable boredom.

Stevie Nicks and Sheryl Crow, Joan Jett and Miley Cyrus, Salt-N-Pepa, Pat Benatar and Avril Lavigne all sang and it was a nice musical flashback.
It all ended with a rousing rendition of "We Are Family" with Sister Sledge, Oprah and the others.
You can catch some of the performances on Oprah.com.
And even though it was a good time, what was really frightening was, I know I'm old when "Push It" by Salt-N-Pepa sounds quaint compared to some of the raw stuff being downloaded from iTunes today.

If you're in New York this weekend, stop in at the Macy's Flower Show.
You'll get a taste of spring and some great flower displays as well.
This year's theme is Tower of Flowers. But if you want to see it in person, you'll have to be quick because the show ends tomorrow.
