You know how when you were a kid there were all those, "Frankenstein Meets The Werewolf" or "The Three Stooges Meet Dracula" or more recently, "Alien vs. Predator" movies? Fanciful pairings to whet any kids imaginary appetite?
Well today's announcement of the acquisition of Marvel Entertainment by the Disney corporation in a $4 billion deal opens up all sorts of potential onscreen character couplings and their movie plots:
"Tinker Bell Saves the Hulk:" Tink ditches the boy who won't grow up and his Never Never Land friends for the big green guy. They then go off and have lots of angry, green babies with wings.
"Minnie Mouse Meets Wolverine:" Minnie meets up with Wolverine and decides to tell her longtime, diminutive mouse partner to take a hike. Turns out size really does matter."Cinderella Cleans Up After Spiderman:" Cindy hooks up with Spidey but regrets it when she finds herself always having to clean up after his blasted webs.
"Iron Man Takes To The Sea with Jack Sparrow:" Iron Man takes to the sea in search of the glamorous Jack Sparrow. Man to man, just think what these two could do together.
"Captain America Rings Our Belle:" The Captain sweeps Belle off her feet and for once she's thrilled not to have to tame the man she's with.
