I'm At A TV Recap Crossroads
Like it or not "Damages" is going to end in four weeks and I'm in crisis. "American Idol" recaps won't begin until January and I'm on the brink of a TV recap gap of phenomenal proportions.
So I'm asking you, my loyal readers for help. I'm taking votes, comments and suggestions about which show to recap this fall.
I've had thoughts of my own and here they are in no particular order:
"House" with the talented and Emmy-less Hugh Laurie. At least doing this one would provide a full season of shows to play with.
"Dirty, Sexy Money" starring Peter Krause. Even though I love good soap opera, who knows if this is good or how long it will last?
"Private Practice" starring Kate Walsh, a spinoff of "Grey's Anatomy." Ditto.
"Bionic Woman" the remake of the 70's classic. Double ditto.
"Grey's Anatomy," the proud parent of "Private Practice."
"Gossip Girl," a new entry from the CW.
"Nip/Tuck," with their plastic surgeons transplanted to Hollywood.
"Aliens In America" a comedy starring Scott Patterson from "Gilmore Girls."
"Big Shots," the male "Sex In The City" with lots of male eye-candy.
"America's Next Top Model," Tyra's CW anchor show of skinny be-atches running wild.
"Pushing Daisies," the critics' pick for best new show of the season.
"Everybody Hates Chris" because it's still funny, very sweet and only half an hour.
"Desperate Housewives," it's not the show it was in the first season, but still a lot of fun. I'm especially looking forward to newcomers Nathan Fillion and Dana Delany.
You can cast your vote by leaving a comment. Tell me the show you would pick and why you would pick it. You're not limited to the shows listed above and you have until the end of the week to vote. I'll announce my decision by next Monday.
