Idol Chit Chat: The Final 12

We're down to the final 12, and now I can pay attention to "American Idol."  You see, I'm a fair weather "AI" fan.  I never sit through all those early rounds with the screeching and cursing, the whining and crying...the geeks, freaks and wackos---and that's just Ryan and Simon. I did however peek in once or twice and caught Melinda's thrilling "Funny Valentine," and LaKisha's fabulous "And I'm Telling You..."  But I also had to suffer through Haley's "Queen of the Night," the weirdness that was Sundance, and anything sung by Sanjaya.  But now, all that's over.  Tonight, ladies and gentleman...tonight, except for Sanjaya, we get down to some serious competition.
